SAUDI ARAMCO CONTINUES RELYING ON AMPO POYAM VALVES FOR LARGE SIZED GATE VALVES FOR ITS HAWIYAH GAS INCREMENT PROGRAM IN SAUDI ARABIA
The end user Saudi Aramco and the Italian EPC contractor Saipem have once again trusted in AMPO POYAM VALVES for the design and manufacture of diverse large sized highly engineered gate valves for Hawiyah Gas Increment Program in Saudi Arabia. One of the main purposes of this program is to provide additional gas processing facilities at Hawiyah Gas Plant (HGP) to process 1070 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) of raw sweet gas to efficiently meet the kingdom’s energy demand.
AMPO POYAM VALVES will develop 42”, 36” and 20” highly engineered gate valves up to 600 lbs for this project in diverse materials; austenitic stainless steel, carbon steel and low temperature carbon steel. With this new order, more than 800 valves designed and manufactured by the Spanish company, which include also 250 sour service valves with Incoloy 825 overlays for high pressure services previously ordered by the Turkish EPC Tefken Instaat, will help increase gas processing in Hawiyah and Haradh facilities in Saudi Arabia.
AMPO POYAM VALVES is a world leader in highly engineered large sized valves, with a wide experience on the development of big sized valves with important references, such as; 72” gate valves for Liwa Plastics, 54” cryogenic top entry ball valves for Cheniere, 42” cryogenic ball valves for Shell, 56” split body ball valves with large actuators, 24” subsea ball valves, 42” check valves for Kingisepp Amonia plant, 36” pressure seal gate valves for methanol units, 30” cryogenic butterfly valves for Zeebrugge LNG, etc.
Moreover, AMPO POYAM VALVES is an approved equipment vendor of Saudi Aramco and has been actively working with the Saudi Arabian national petroleum and natural gas company for many years. On the other hand, AMPO POYAM VALVES has also strengthened its collaboration with Saipem, which is one of the main worldwide EPCs in the development of major projects in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
All these large sized gate valves will be delivered in 2020.
