AMPO IS SUPPLYING HIGHLY ENGINEERED CRYOGENIC AND NON-CRYOGENIC VALVES FOR PORT ARTHUR LNG

AMPO POYAM VALVES is proud to play a crucial role in Port Arthur LNG Project, providing highly engineered cryogenic and non-cryogenic valves for this major natural gas liquefaction and export terminal. Located in Jefferson County, Texas, the project’s first phase involves the construction of two natural gas liquefaction trains, two LNG storage tanks, and associated facilities, with a nameplate capacity of approximately 13 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa). Currently under construction, this $13 billion investment will enhance the U.S. natural gas industry’s leadership, strengthening its position as a reliable partner in building global energy security.
As part of this landmark project, AMPO POYAM VALVES will be supplying more than 15,000 LNG valves during 2023, 2024, and 2025, including highly engineered cryogenic and non-cryogenic ball valves as well as cryogenic and non-cryogenic gate, globe, and check valves. These valves have been designed to meet the most demanding specifications of Port Arthur LNG Phase 1, a joint venture between Sempra Infrastructure and ConocoPhillips.
But our involvement in the project extends beyond valve supply. AMPO’s engineering team has provided technical guidance on valve selection to ensure each valve solution aligns perfectly with the project’s unique requirements. In addition, all valves undergo full in-house testing to guarantee the highest performance and reliability.
