AMPO POYAM VALVES SUPPORTS A MAJOR TOPSIDE PROJECT IN AUSTRALIA WITH HIGHLY ENGINEERED SUBSEA BALL VALVES

AMPO POYAM VALVES is contributing to an important topside substructure project off the coast of Western Australia by designing, manufacturing and delivering highly engineered subsea valves for this project. This upstream project aims to enhance natural gas supplies to an existing Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) facility, helping to meet the increasing global demand for LNG. Construction on this groundbreaking project commenced in 2022, with the first gas production targeted for 2027.
AMPO is currently supplying a total of 171 highly engineered manual, hydraulic and ROV-operated subsea ball valves for this challenging project, which will be installed in the flooding and venting system of the subsea platform, located at a 172 meters depth approximately. Those subsea valves have been engineered to perform under the most demanding conditions of marine environments and have undergone rigorous compliance testings to meet subsea industry and platform-specific standards, ensuring durability and reliability in the most severe services. AMPO’s proven expertise in subsea solutions and its successful execution of similar projects globally were key factors in the customer’s decision to partner with us.
AMPO POYAM VALVES is honored to play a pivotal role in this landmark development, reaffirming its commitment to delivering highly engineered valves and solutions to upstream operations, from subsea to surface projects.
