TITANIUM VALVES WILL BE INSTALLED AT WHITE ROSE EXTENSION PROJECT IN CANADA

AMPO POYAM VALVES has supplied over 80 highly engineered titanium valves for the Wellhead Platform (WHP) of White Rose Extension project, whose end user is the Canadian leading operator Husky Energy. The WHP is located offshore on the East Coast of Canada, approximately 7 km west from the SeaRose FPSO. This field consists of both oil and gas pools. The new Wellhead Platform is composed by topside facilities with drilling capabilities supported on a concrete gravity substructure (CGS) and it is being positioned in a water depth of approximately 120m. Topside facilities include well heads, well testing, metering, utilities, flare boom and support services.

All those special titanium valves developed and manufactured by AMPO POYAM VALVES will be installed on the production platform for chemical injection service, sea water supply service and the emergency fire water system service. The valves’ sizes have ranged up to 14”.

AMPO POYAM VALVES is specialized in highly engineered, ad-hoc and special material valves and it has its own integrated foundry since 1964. This is considered one of the best European Foundries and an expert in stainless steel and high alloy castings. For this project, apart from the before mentioned titanium valves, some duplex material valves with NORSOK requirements were also designed and produced, and all of them were casted and machined in our own foundry. The pressure rating for those valves has been up to 2500# with HUB ends and they will work as main isolation valves.
